Artist's Comments

I got bored of drawing and decided to animate something. :D
The atom is tritium, an isotope of hydrogen, and it's used in nuclear fusion reactions.

Comments on the quality of animation would be appreciated.

I've now fiddled with it so it looks less messed up. Hopefully.

Woohoo, tritium!!! How come the electron slows down during the flash? It didn't do that when I was looking over your shoulder. :( *Stabs gif animator* Aw, it's still awesome. :D

Signature discarded for being too bulky.
See, if I'm slimming it can't possibly be cool.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm might wanna make the circle a lil wider at the front and back. w/ perspective in mind it's a lil ovaly. still can't figure out howta do that. y do you like nuclear fusion so much? might give the poor nucleus some more character, cos it looks like a blob. I know tha nuclei ARE blobs, but it still don' hafta look like it. CHALLENGE!!! do somethin w/ a higher atomic #, like . . . (I'm looking it up I'm such a geek) Aluminium! which you people pronounce Aah--Loo--MIN--ee--um . . . and we pronounce Ah--LOO--min--um. Misprounoncing Brits. Sorry lol I mean it in all . . . . good fun? is that right? anyway, try it w/ the electrons going around in their layers, much more quickly and in different angles it would be cool! :D

Eep! Multiple shells! I thought about doing something bigger, but doing this took me long enough. Maybe one day...

You do know i'ts "Fission" right? Not Fusion, Fission.

Dammit voices! SHUT THE HELL UP IM TRYING TO NOT BE AN INSOMNIAC FOR ONCE!!!
:iconthunderstarry:
Um...actually, both fission and fusion exist; fission is what happens in conventional nuclear power stations, and is when an element (usually uranium) is split by a neutron smacking into it. Fusion is what keeps the sun lit, and is when two light atoms (eg. of hydrogen) hit each other, fusing into a different element and releasing energy.
:icongammasatori:
Ooh. Well then excuse my previous comment.
